The Positive Behavior Support Training Curriculum (PBSTC) teaches direct support staff and supervisors the principles of positive behavior support while interacting with people with intellectual disabilities in service settings. This Curriculum, originally published in 2004, has been successfully implemented by service providers and agencies across the country and abroad.  

Positive behavior support strategies are known to work in dealing with challenging behavior and the PBSTC contains strategies that create a respectful client-staff environment in service settings.

The PBSTC contains 25 training modules in total, 9 of which are designed for supervisors only.  Each module addresses a key set of skills in positive behavior support, and in addtion the supervisors' modules trains supervisors to be effective managers.
