The 146^th AAIDD Annual Meeting will provide a forum for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, students and early career professionals, and advocates to come together to reenvision our efforts to advance equity and inclusion in the intellectual and developmental disabilities field.   Recent events are painful, yet clear reminders of our responsibility to continuously challenge the deeply rooted systemic barriers that perpetuate inequities throughout society.  Recognition, acknowledgment, and interrogation of the ways current systems and structures overtly and covertly promote inequity and segregation are vital as we move forward to dismantle barriers and reenvision change that leads to equity and inclusion.
