Using Stakeholder Feedback to Drive Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)

Presenters:
Michele Schutz, MEd, Vanderbilt University
Erik Carter, PhD, Vanderbilt University
Jessica Awsumb, PhD, Vanderbilt University

Improving the implementation of transition services and equipping youth with disabilities with the skills and experiences necessary to work is essential for addressing enduring unemployment. In this webinar, we illustrate the implications of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) and describe findings from a statewide survey of parent, educator, and agency views of Pre-ETS services. We share our study findings, implications for delivery of Pre-ETS, and ways in which we are using this data to inform the development of training and resources necessary for youth with disabilities to successfully obtain and maintain employment.

This is an AAIDD webinar.
